our fourth of july

included 

the annual pine street block party

which, as always, 

was full of a plethora of kid fun

to be enjoyed!

this year our family was a tad bit illegal

and bought fireworks from a city they are legal

in, and then set them off in our backyard,

in a city they are illegal in.

but, don't get me started on what i should and should not

be allowed to do in my own backyard!

i promise she actually did enjoy the sparklers.

if you haven't already noticed the chalk circles by now,

please take note.  yes, yes i did draw them designated

spaces in which they could partake in pyrotechnic play.

 this family had another fun and safe 4th of july.
