family photos

isn't it funny how you look at peoples' family photos 

or christmas cards and it all looks so perfect?

i don't know about you... but i know for us, 

the behind the scenes reality of family photo day 

has it's share of whining kids, frustrated parents, 

bribes, and even a possible threat or two.

but because i am a lover of photos,

it is worth it every single year.

and because my husband is a lover of me,

he agrees to it every single year.

and well, the kids are covered
by those bribes and threats i mentioned.

 i love receiving christmas cards 

with family photos during this season.
it is really one of my favorite things.
it makes going to the mail box everyday so exciting!

i hope your christmas season is coming together nicely so far.

my kiddos only have this week left in school and then they get three whole weeks off for vacation!  isn't that wonderful!?
